H/L went through a rebrand in 2023 to give them more of an edge in the marketplace and showcase how they stood out as an agency. The goal was to create a brand that cut through the noise and showed how they Make Momentum™ for their clients.

How H/L Makes Momentum

This project aimed to capture various ways the agency creates momentum internally in one easily understandable graphic. It highlights the agency’s core values, DEI initiatives, community outreach opportunities, and recent awards that were won.

Leveling up on social

Companies must remember the importance of leveraging social media to gain clients and potential employees or show off their work. With the re-brand at H/L, leveling up on social was a big focus. I collaborated with an Art Director to develop the social style and have since built out new templates that fit that style and are within the brand guidelines. We aimed to create engagement through a clean design aesthetic while implementing our brand voice.

Affinity groups were created to foster genuine connections between co-workers based on similar interests. Given the agency’s hybrid work environment, connecting with others is necessary for growing relationships and developing the agency culture.

Winning awards is exciting, and people love seeing others recognize their work. Highlighting awards gives H/L an edge over the competition, and makes them attractive to potential employees.

Social platforms are all about sharing what you do with others. Highlighting client work creates curiosity and appeal and can lead to new business opportunities for the agency.

H/L hosts a speaker series called Momentum Makers. The topics discussed are intended to challenge, inspire, and encourage each employee to make a difference within the agency and do work that matters.

Business Card

I had the opportunity to design the H/L business card. This design combined using branded pattern elements and the logo and tagline. While it is fairly simplistic in its approach, the business card communicates the idea of making momentum clearly and demonstrates how H/L approaches its work as an agency.
